About Green Mic Comedy

Green Mic Comedy runs English-language stand-up nights in Paris. It's a great place to meet people and have a good laugh, and every night is unique.

Paris is full of people from everywhere: expats, travelers, students, locals who love comedy in English. Green Mic gives them all a reason to share the same room, the same drinks and the same punchlines.

It started with a microphone

Paris-based comedian Tarik TK founded Green Mic in 2021 with a simple idea: put great comedians in front of a great crowd, in bars where you can actually talk to the person next to you.

Since then, Green Mic has grown from one weekly night into showcases, open mics, improv, theme nights, solo shows and a few surprises. The microphone is still green. The rest keeps changing.

No two nights are the same

Every lineup is different. A seasoned headliner, a newcomer trying a brand-new bit, a guest on tour from abroad: you never quite know who's next on stage, and that's the fun of it.

The crowd changes too. Some nights it's a room full of regulars, other nights half the audience arrived in Paris last week. Each mix gives the show its own energy.

Come alone, leave with stories

You don't need to know anyone to come. Plenty of people show up on their own and end up chatting at the bar before the show, laughing at the same jokes during it and swapping numbers after it.

Bring friends, bring a date, or just bring yourself. The seats are close, the vibe is relaxed and the comedians will make sure nobody stays a stranger for long.

Green Mic gives comedians a place to perform, test new material and meet new audiences. From open mics for first-timers to showcases and solo shows for experienced acts, every format has its spot in the week.

We work with independent bars and intimate rooms across Paris. Each venue has its own personality, but the promise is the same everywhere: good comedy, good people, a good night.
